As you know all players should have a properly fitting mouth guard.  Junior section players taking part in contact sessions and matches will not be allowed to play without one.  In order to assist you in sorting out a suitable mouthguard we have arranged for a technician from OPRO to join us at Junior Registration on Sunday 5 September to take mouth guard moulds. To confirm the technician's visit we need a minimum order of 20 mouthguards to be placed on line before the 5th.  Current squads have been notified by their coaches and managers but there is nothing stopping you encouraging any friends or school mates that will need mouthguards from ordering OPRO and coming along.  Having tried with limited success the fit your self mould system I strongly recommend that everyone needing a mouthguard takes advantage of the speciailist, it will then fit properly.  Details of the colours and patterns available together with prices can be found at www.opro.com.   Please talk to your coaches or me directly about ordering arrangements.

All senior fixtures are now on the calendar, these will be posted in the changing rooms by start of training.

All mini/midi fixtures are now sorted and in the calendar, the U15 & U16 fixtures are still in progress and will be completed soon

Senior training commences at the Rec Soc 7pm prompt on Tuesday 6th July and will be every Tuesday and Thursday thereafter.  New players will be more than welcome, we will be running 2 teams this season - 1st xv playing in Berks, Bucks & Oxon 2 South whilst 2nd xv compete in Thames Valley Invitation League B.

Please can all players refrain from going on the 1st team pitch as this needs resting, seeding and lots of nuturing in preparation for the forthcoming season, all training will take place on the junior pitch alongside the clubhouse.

This Thursday (24th) see's the final round of matches in the Senior Touch Tournament. Matches will start at 7.00pm at the Rec.Soc.AWE Aldermaston. 

Come along and support the lads as they take on local rivals , Kingsclere , Tadley and Thatcham. We will be holding a BBQ and "refresments" after the final whistle. 

A reminder at this sad time for ARFC that Summer Training starts this Wednesday 9 June for next seasons U10s and older.  I'm sure that Malcolm would approve of the club providing activites for the younger members and their friends. We will be starting at 6.30pm, non contact games and fitness activities.  Come along and bring your mates.

This coming Thursday 3rd June sees the Seniors compete in a Touch Rugby Tournament with Kingsclere, Tadley and Thatcham.  The Tournament is spread over four weeks, the dates and venues are as folllows;

3rd June  @  Aldermaston
10th June @ Tadley
17th June @ Kingsclere
24th June @ Aldermaston

Matches will start at 7.00pm sharp and will last 10 minutes e/w with a one minute break. Squads of ten with seven players on the pitch at any one time.  So why not come along and cheer on the lads !.
