ALDERMASTON RFC U14/15s TOUR 2010  Bonus Ball Competition

This is a great fund raiser for two reasons:
1.  The competition gives everyone a good chance of winning something – so makes it easier to approach people. £10 to enter for 10 weeks, and someone will win £25 each week guaranteed!!
2.  Good to involve people from outside the club.  Sell this to friends, grand-parents, aunts, uncles – take it into work. If you take the time to explain the competition and people understand they can win they are usually more than happy to sign up.

Here’s how it works.  Each competition has 49 people in it.  Each person is allocated a Bonus Ball number.  The competition runs for 10 weeks.  Each week, the person with the Bonus Ball number that matches the National Lottery Bonus Ball number on Saturday night wins £25. Entry is for 10 weeks, and costs £1/week, so a total of £10. With 49 people, that’s £490.  Prize money is 10 weeks of £25/week, a total of £250.  So the profit for 10 weeks is £240. the year before Last another club ran 6 of these competitions – and some people donated their winnings to the Tour Fund, giving a profit of £1,500.  So what we need you ALL to do is to sign people up for the competition.  As soon as we have the first 49 entries, we will start the competition.  And every subsequent 49 entries we will start another competition. 

Please see Denise Firth in the kitchen on a Sunday morning, at training on a Wednesday evening or call her on 01189 674149 to enter the competition.   Remember people can enter more than once – they can sign up for 2 or more balls if they want.   We’ve got a lot of money to raise, so please get out there and start selling asap.  If you can try and get us at least 49 entries by Wednesday 3rd February, we can start the competition on Saturday 13th February.  We need everyone to join in remember – it’s all for the boys and hopefully a great tour!!
