Pick a team of 15 players from the current Premiership crop, name your team and join our Fantasy league (Aldermaston Lions) - for a bit of banter... (ARFC junior players & parents welcome). Update 07/09/10: Its Not Too Late To Register! Thanks to all those who registered on 5th September, all other existing or new players need to register by 26th September at the latest for insurance purposes. Please see your section coaches. A reminder at this sad time for ARFC that Summer Training starts this Wednesday 9 June for next seasons U10s and older. I'm sure that Malcolm would approve of the club providing activites for the younger members and their friends. We will be starting at 6.30pm, non contact games and fitness activities. Come along and bring your mates. |

The Junior Section presented the seasons players awards to all teams in the Junior section on Sunday 9th May. A brief AGM was held covering a successful season for the Lions section. The minis then ran through an obstacle course designed for fun, while the other Junior lads prepared for the infamous 'Lads vs Dad's' match.  A close fought match - that saw the Combined U14's/U15's narrowly beat the skillful, wise and vaguely organised Dads and Lasses team. A lot of fun, spirited competition and sore bodies for everyone over 15!! Photo's attached (I think the final score was 31 / 29 to the young pretenders)? Thanks to Luke for refereeing and all for keeping to the spirit of the game. See you all next season. |

This coming Saturday 13th March see's the 6th Annual Schools TAG Tournament at Aldermaston Rugby Club. Local Schools will compete in Upper and Lower age groups at the Rec.Soc , registration is 9.30am with matches starting at 10.00am sharp. Why not come along and cheer on the players of the future. Also attendance will be the London Irish mascot Digger the Dog. Refresments will be on sale at the ground. |
